Had a nice little weekend in Maine last week.
The itinerary for the few days included York’s Wild Kingdom, Portland Headlight, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Mystic Aquarium, and Mystic Seaport.
It was a nice, short getaway with my cousins to recharge. Wished we had try more of the amazing local seafood but overall it was an enjoyable trip.
One place I really want to visit is Australia. Mostly because of one of my besties, L, lives there and it’s been too long since I’ve seen her stupid ass face. (i love ya!) I will make it out there one day (I swear!) but for now I get my taste of the Down Under through the awesome snacks I make her send me. 😀

Finding Nemo is one of my favorite Pixar movies.
When I heard there was going to be a Finding Dory movie, I was excited because she was actually the character I was most curious about. What was her deal? This quirky, loopy soul with memory issues must have an interesting backstory.
And the movie did not disappoint.
Brownies are classic. They’re simple but can also be elevated and diversified in so many different ways.
Enjoyed with a glass of milk or a la mode with ice cream, I’m sure they are pure nostalgia for many of us. They are, along with chocolate chip cookies, definitely my go-to purchase at any bake sales.
