Yes I’m alive!
I just haven’t been feeling like blogging during my busy season. And even though that ended a month ago, I just didn’t feel motivated to get back in the groove with the blog. But I’m definitely working on starting this party up again 🙂 There’s a lot of stuff I wanna do this summer; new places to try and old friends to hang with.
I’ve missed you all and hope everyone has been well. Looking forward to catching up with your posts.
Meanwhile, here are some snippets of what I’ve been up to/enjoying/crying over during the past few months in some photos:
January babies birthday dinner
Lamb claypot; we always get this one at dinner. pure comfort food.
Salt and pepper porkchop
Salted crispy chicken
Clams in sauce. Mmm finger lickin good
Homemade oreo cheesecake. Pure indulgence. Something to look forward to after a long week of work during bus season.
Homemade egg and spam chow mei fun. Simple, hearty weekend breakfast.
Homemade eggplant parm lasagna. See… I do get my veggies in from time to time xD
A good hefty slice.
My go to picky plate for an afternoon snack.
Got your nuts and dried fruits, crackers and cheese, guac and tostitos sticks, and other Graze box goodies
Slowly trying to get into more vegan stuff. Chloe’s a good gateway vegan food to try.
The guac burger. Love the guac and tortilla strips. The black bean/quinoa/sweet potato patty is better than I expected.
I only really go to Prince Tea House for the green tea crepe.
Bimbibap @ Bon Chon
Hot pot @ Hometown. Great if you like a variety of soup bases.
Otherwise the selection is pretty average. I like hotpotting at home better.
Basil gimlet from Bocca
I don’t look it but I’m ecstatic to be drinking Thai milk tea out of the lightbulb cup which I kept 😀
Karamel Maple Corn Puffs for those nights of watching Supergirl!
Cookie butter cheesecake. 500 cals a slice! Madness!
B&J’s Karamel Sutra! Again to enjoy with my tv loves.
Chanson’s Strawberry Cheesecake. Got a ‘whole’ cake of this for Mother’s Day @ $40 for barely 4 slices. Worth it? Can’t say it was.
Willy wonka! I wasn’t madly in love with the production but Christian Borle is always a joy to watch and the Charlie actor was good.
The Price. Mark Ruffalo is one of my underrated loves. Never read The Price so it was good watching it from a fresh perspective.
Danny Devito was a revelation for me. I can’t say I was a big fan of him before but he really hit it out of the park in his performance here.
A Doll’s House Part 2 was decent although I don’t see why this was a necessary continuation.
Dear Evan Hansen, hands down one of the top, if not my favorite show. it really spoke to me and my anxiety ridden side.
Fantastic cast. Ben Platt is my new celeb crush. I am really considering watching this for a second time.
Lady Liberty on a gorgeous day
Chilling with the ducks at Prospect
Fun with this guy before watching Willy Wonka musical!
Playing peekaboo with this fella
This is my baby clamping down on my hand because he’s really a vampire ;_; He really was on it, I couldn’t move my hand without risk of him tearing a chunk off.
Some arts and craft with Halloween sock monkey. So behind lol
Catching up on the series in hopes that it will be fresh in my head when George finally comes out with the next book.
Mr. Bear from the Jungle during his tenure in my room.
Enjoy the mew life,
